Simple, yet very effective, at home spa treatments:
Add to a warm bath one or any combination of:
1c milk - gently exfoliates, provides nutrition and softens and nourishes skin
3 tbsp honey - nourishes and protects skin with antioxidants
1/2 c oatmeal - nourishes dry, itching or irritated skin
1/2 c sea salt - detoxifies, gently exfoliates and softens skin
1/2 c baking soda - cleanses, softens and soothes irritated skin
Oil and egg yolks provide essential oils and proteins to dry or damaged hair. You can combine these ingredients yourself to make a hair mask or simply use mayonnaise and leave in for 15 minutes before rinsing
Mud! The best masks are the ones including natural minerals and/or aloe that balance pH levels and provide deep nourishing benefits without the chemicals!
